Vendome’s Healthcare Media division focuses on live events, products and services for professionals in:

Vendome’s Real Estate Media division publishes online subscription-based newsletters for commercial and residential real estate professionals and their attorneys. These titles provide plain-English guidance on management, lease, and regulatory compliance matters, as well as advice and practical tools on a wide range of operational issues encountered by property owners, managers, and leasing agents. Vendome’s portfolio of real estate products addresses the specialized concerns of those property professionals working in apartment buildings in New York City as well as community associations, assisted and tax credit housing sites, and office buildings and shopping centers across the country.



Jane Butler founded the Vendome Group in 2004 and serves as CEO and Board Chair.   She is responsible for overall strategy and growth, building on her track record of success in B2B, professional and educational publishing and events.  

During her career, Ms. Butler has spearheaded 28 acquisitions in various legal and business markets.  In her prior role as CEO of Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Business division, Ms. Butler helped reposition the company from a specialty print publisher to the third largest provider of proprietary legal content in the US .





Bill Newberry

Bill Newberry is the Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Newberry has over 15 years of experience in the media and publishing industry. Joining Vendome in late 2007, Mr. Newberry is responsible for budgeting, forecasting and improving business analytics He has also managed the implementation of a new fulfillment and advertising billing system (Media Services Group) and coordinated the transition of payroll and human resource functions to ADP Totalsource.

Prior to working at Vendome, Mr. Newberry was a finance manager with Wolters Kluwer’s legal division where he was responsible for managing budgets, forecasts and financial reporting for multiple business units. He has also worked as finance and business manager for Northstar Travel Media, Newsweek Budget Travel and Newsweek magazine. Bill has a BS in management from Monmouth University and an MBA from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.




Dan Melore is the Chief Marketing Officer of Vendome Group and oversees marketing, creative services and web development.  He leads the audience, data, digital, social, and mobile strategies across Vendome's media and events businesses.

Previously, Mr. Melore served as Vice President of Audience Marketing for UBM Tech, a $300 million global media business that delivers information, events, training, data, and marketing services to the technology industry. While at UBM Tech, he led a team of digital, database, and analytics professionals that were focused on the development, growth, and execution of community strategy and engagement for UBM Tech's business technology media and events brands. Prior to his service at UBM, Mr. Melore was Vice President of Online Marketing in North America for Oberon Media, Inc., a casual games company that delivered gaming solutions across online, social, and mobile platforms.  Before that, he spent eight years at ESPN where he led the strategy for ESPN Digital Media’s e-commerce businesses. Mr. Melore holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University.



Douglas J. Edwards is the Vice President and Managing Director of Vendome's Behavioral Healthcare division, which produces the National Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit, National Conference on Alcohol and Addiction Disorders, National Cocaine, Meth & Stimulant Summit, Treatment Center Investment & Valuation Retreat, Treatment Center Executive & Marketing Retreat, and the Summits for Clinical Excellence. The unit also produces the Addiction Professional and Behavioral Healthcare Executive media channels. Edwards has been serving the behavioral healthcare community for 18 years. He began his career with Medquest Communications, acquired by Vendome, in 2000, as a proofreader for Behavioral Health Management magazine. He was quickly promoted to assistant editor, managing editor, editor in chief, and then publisher of Behavioral Healthcare and Addiction Professional, successfully transitioning from an editorial to sales and strategic role. Edwards spearheaded the development of Vendome's behavioral health conferences, launching a series of local, regional, national, and virtual events. Noted for his behavioral healthcare market expertise, Edwards presents at conferences and moderates expert panel discussions around the country, including those featuring members of Congress and other luminaries. Edwards has a BA in English and Sociology from the University of Akron and an MBA from Franklin University.


Rich Tomko is VP and Managing Director for Healthcare Informatics and iHT2 brands. Rich has spent nearly twenty years building media businesses for large established brands (CNN, Cooking Light, Real Simple, MyRecipes, Cablevision/Newsday) and digital start-ups. He offers in-depth, hands-on experience in creating strong print, digital, video, and events platforms.






Jennifer Turney is Vice President and Managing Director for Vendome Group. She oversees programming and operations for nearly 30 national and regional events across Vendome’s portfolio. In addition, she is responsible for the development and successful execution of all of Vendome’s custom media, custom event, and webinar programs. Since joining Vendome in 2006, Ms. Turney has held several roles in the organization, including spearheading the launch of Vendome’s new products and events. Prior to joining Vendome, she held roles at CCH Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, and Turner Broadcasting.
