Detailed Description
Managing patients with chronic skin conditions and wound care needs can be challenging. Addressing the patient's underlying conditions causing chronic wounds and matching the appropriate dressing/drug/device to the patient's needs are essential steps for effective skin and wound management. Understanding the importance of a complete and well-rounded skin and wound care formulary is the first line of defense to support clinically efficient and cost effective outcomes for patients in all care settings.
Nationally known wound management expert Cathy Thomas Hess walks participants through the process of creating an effective wound care formulary that incorporates time-tested strategies as well as the latest clinical treatment strategies.
