Information systems expert Jeff Luck, Ph.D., will guide participants through the demands of tomorrow's hospitals and discuss how today's planning process needs to account for rapidly changing technology and innovations in quality patient care.

About the Speaker

Jeff Luck, Ph.D.

Jeff is a member of Sg2's Strategic Intelligence Team, focusing on information systems applications and quality improvement, in addition to leading the Tomorrow's Hospital program. He also works with the Impact of Change® (IoC) model team and is a Sg2 University faculty member.

Prior to joining Sg2, Jeff spent over 10 years on the faculty of the UCLA School of Public Health. His research addressed the implementation of new management practices and information systems to improve health care organizations' quality and efficiency in industrialized and developing countries. He assisted the development of innovative methods to measure the quality of outpatient care, and worked on projects that collected and disseminated population health data for management and policy analysis. At UCLA he worked extensively with the Veterans Health Administration, Los Angeles County, UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.
