Regional Account Manager
Vendome Group, LLC provides cutting-edge information products designed to improve the efficiency and productivity of our customers, and disseminates critical information across all media, from magazines and conferences, to electronic newsletters, databases, Webinars and research papers. Our customers encompass a wide range of business and healthcare professionals, including lawyers, doctors, architects, consultants, and engineers.
To help facilitate our mission, this key sales manager will be responsible for sales strategy, establishing new clients, growing a core set of accounts and meeting established individual and territory revenue goals.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Grow advertising revenue in assigned territory by developing and implementing strategic and tactical advertising programs that target clients’ marketing objectives.
- Analyze and review competitive environments and their impact on advertisers, enabling the development of new business through prospecting.
- Cross/up sell “integrated packages” – print, web banners, webinars etc.
- Prepare presentation materials, proposals, contracts, media kits, and market reports as necessary, communicating clearly with vendors and publication audience to enhance sales and brand image within the industry.
- Create and develop new revenue generating ideas for your brand.
- Nurture existing advertisers, as well as breaking through resistance barriers of prospective customers to develop new accounts
- Perform timely advertising and revenue forecasting for designated territory.
- Travel to Industry Events and Client meetings
Qualifications for this position include 5-7 years (inside/outside) sales experience preferably in a B2B magazine advertising sales environment, the ability to grasp and communicate new ideas, concepts and industry information to a non-familiar audience, strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ad sales experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus but not necessary. Familiarity with Act a plus. Approximately 30% travel is required
