About the Speakers

Vladislav Torskiy — Vice President and Senior Medical Planner, Health Care Practice, HOK
Mr. Torskiy is a Vice President and Senior Medical Planner with HOK's Health Care practice in Chicago. He began his career in the Ukraine, where he received his first of two Masters of Science in Architecture in 1995. He has since been involved in public and institutional planning and development assignments for clients in the U.S. and abroad, including Brazil, France, Israel, Hungary, Papua New Guinea, Russia, Romania, South Africa, Singapore, and Ukraine. Mr. Torskiy's responsibilities include: managing clients, directing work teams, guiding planning processes, and leading the implementation of long-range strategic solutions for optimal clinical, operational and financial performances.


Sherri L. Babcock, CMRP, PE, MBA — President Synergent, LLC
Ms. Babcock has been engineering and coordinating implementation of specialized process systems since 1988. She has worked exclusively as a hospital operations logistics consultant since 2000, and has helped many clients cost-justify and successfully apply advanced technologies to improve patient care.
